So
the highlight of the week was an invasion in Chulucanas (a town about an hour
away from Piura). An invasion is when the entire district goes and works in one
area. Since this area has been struggling we all decided to go work one
afternoon and help them find new people to teach. But once we get off the bus
it starts down pouring. Super super hard, and we came from Piura where the sun
was sooo hot. We were in short sleeve shirts and nothing ready for rain. So
we just walked around the streets soaked, walking in streets that were flooding
above our ankles. It was super dope but we got drenched, then had to take an
hour bus ride back to Piura super soaked. It was tons of fun and definitely a
memory I will never forget!!!
Also
this week for pday we played Risk, it was tons of fun. Its a different type,
where the goal isn't world domination, you all have goal cards, and its the
first one to complete their goal!
Also
this Sunday we had a surprise visit by an area 70.
Its been raining almost every night here. but the problem is that most the roads
are made out of dirt. So when it rains the roads just turn muddy and it so hard
to walk around.
That's
about it, we just are out here grinding and working hard.
Everyday here is the
best day ever!!!
