What's up everybody! This week was super good lots of fun
work!
But in a jest I got transferred 2 Tumbes.... again. To the
same area where I started the mission. So today I had a 6 hour bus ride and it
was super hot and sweaty, and then immigration came to check that we were all in the
country legally and one of the Elders from Paraguay didn't have the copy of his
visa so the police forced him off the bus and the bus started running away. The worst part was that we didn't have any cell phones since we were all
going to our new area. We stressed out because they weren't going to let him
go, but for some reason (pretty sure the Lord just helping us out!) the lady
softened her heart and let me and him keep going on the bus! It was the biggest
miracle of the week!
I also was eating lunch at a members house and she told me she
had a type writer so she brought it out and I played on it for over 30 minutes
it was so much fun!
Also starting this week I will be my own personal chef,
making breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sunday morning before church a Venezuelan family got baptized! It was super awesome, everybody but the mom got baptized.
That's about all for this week, I love you all, more to come
next week!!
Love,
Elder Luke Gruber
